Marine CNG Containment
Marine compressed natural gas transport is a method of utilising gas that would otherwise be flared for useful energy production.
There are several methods for containing gas using combinations of pressurisation and cooling all of which achieve poor volumetric efficiency (Volume of gas stored/Volume of ship internal hold).
A radical solution to this issue was requested and FTL determined the actual volume efficiencies of existing storage solutions and provided the client with an alternative high efficiency storage method.
